Pre-Employment Training
One of the major costs of a new business start-up is employee turnover. The pre- employment training program is designed to appropriately match candidates with specific jobs. Candidates experience a company-selected curriculum that is jointly developed by company representatives and college training professionals. The curriculum may include work ethics, appropriate dress, work expectations, and technical skill requirements. If candidates do not meet such training requirements as attendance, promptness, and cooperativeness, they are filtered from the program. This pre-employment service provides a pool of qualified applicants that will decrease turnover rate and employment costs. (Top)
